This is just a small sampling of some of my favorite portraits I have taken of friends and family! I love catching the natural smile and unposed look of people. Its such a more natural photograph. 

Safari Park

It truly was a wonderful photo day at the Safari Park. After our brief rain and then cool weather, all the animals were out soaking up the sun!!! 

BUTTERFLIES!!!!! This is just a small sampling of some of the shots  I got at the San Diego Safari Park! They were truly amazing. I had not been in years and  I will definitely go back. 

These photos were taken using the manual feature on my camera. Now I do not normally use that feature since I have very little experience with it. But I did read a blog with photography tips that suggested using manual focus. I think I might learn to like it with some practice!

Raindrops

Rain drops are a simple thing. And yet they create such beauty in a simple drop. We have not had a good rainstorm in a while down here and I just could not resist capturing the beauty. I could not stop taking photo after photo. That is the curse of being a photographer, always seeing the photos in everyday life!
